Background
- Women’s volleyball at Utah State was 2-28 in the 2019 season.
- In 2020, they hired Rob Neilson to turn the program around.
- Rob Neilson was looking for a way to protect one of his players suffering from repeated concussions and ended up training the whole team to protect them from injury.
Intervention
- The team began training on TopSpin360 in the 2021/22 offseason
- 3 sets of 30 revolutions, twice per week, equalling less than 5-minutes of training per athlete per week
Results
- ZERO concussion season in 2022!
- WON the Mountain West Conference Championship in 2022!
- WON the Mountain West Regular Season Title in 2023!
