Background
- Princeton Men’s Volleyball has a strong tradition of excellence.
- During the 2020/21 season, the team faced challenges with player availability due to many concussions
Intervention
- Looking to enhance neck strength, stability, and overall preparedness, Princeton incorporated TopSpin360 into their offseason training leading up to the 2022 season.
- Players trained twice per week, completing three sets of 30 revolutions per session—a total of less than 5 minutes per athlete per week.
Results
- Princeton started the 2022 season 1-8 and was 5-13 at mid-season.
- They went on to finish the season with a 10-game win streak, winning the EIVA championship.
- During the playoffs, Princeton defeated #5 Saint Francis, #3 NJIT, and #1 Penn State on their path to victory.
- Among players who consistently trained with TopSpin360, these athletes improved resilience and consistent player availability.
